Saratoga officials are fighting a Wood County Circuit Court ruling that ordered the town's building inspector to issue permits for a proposed large-scale dairy.

Wysocki Family of Companies intends to construct Golden Sands Dairy, a 5,300-animal, 7,000-acre operation in Saratoga. Town leaders have opposed the plan for the concentrated animal feeding operation, also called a CAFO, and refused to issue building permits for the project.
