Educational software company Skyward will build a new headquarters valued at as much as $30 million and create 700 new jobs over the next decade in a project that could pump hundreds of millions of dollars into the local economy.

Company leaders formally announced the plan at a Wednesday community event at the SentryWorld Sports Center. The project culminates a remarkable turnaround for a company that just weeks ago was on the brink of eliminating hundreds of jobs and moving its remaining operations out of Wisconsin.
