Marshfield McDonald's to close Aug. 19 for reconstruction (with video)

Happy Meal and Big Mac fans might want to visit their favorite fast food restaurant before Aug. 19, when the Marshfield McDonald's, 1101 N. Central Ave., will close its doors for about 90 days while the store is demolished and rebuilt.

The store's last business day before the reconstruction will be Aug. 18. A few days later, demolition crews will tear down the existing building, and it will be reconstructed on the same property, said McDonald's director of operations Chris Conner.

He said he hopes to reopen the store before Thanksgiving. ...
