Entering exhibit items to be judged at the Door County Fair is a long-held tradition for many families and an important part of the historic fair culture. Entries may be submitted under School Exhibits, 4-H Projects, and Open Class items, a competitive category which is "open" to anyone.

This year, 258 people pre-registered 2,010 entries for the Junior Fair and School Exhibits combined, and 322 people submitted 2,012 pre-registered entries in Open Class.
