The smell of meat on a grill and flurry of green and gold jerseys ushered in the start of another football season at Lambeau Field Saturday with Family Night presented by Bellin Health.

The return of pre-season football, in the form of an intra-team scrimmage under the lights of Lambeau Field, was seen as a marker of the approaching season by many of the 75,000 or so fans at the sold-out event.

It was a split decision of sorts, however, as to whether it was the official start to the football season. ...
