With 4 million shoppers a year who generate $60 million in annual retail sales, the Wausau Center is considered one of downtown Wausau's biggest success stories.

About 60 people gathered at the Marathon County Historical Society on Thursday evening for a private reception to celebrate the mall's 30th anniversary. And people gathered again Friday for celebrations right at the mall.
