BMO Harris Bank awards funding

BMO Harris Bank has awarded CAP Services a grant of $7,500 for the Skills Enhancement Program for the second year. The Skills Enhancement Program is an individually-directed workforce development program that assists working, low-income individuals in obtaining the skills needed to compete for living wage jobs.

"CAP's Skills Enhancement Program provides financial support to assist with tuition, books, and training-related transportation and childcare costs that participants could not otherwise afford," said Andrew Konkel, CAP's assistant director of Human Development. "This grant from BMO Harris Bank will provide a lasting impact in the lives of the working poor served in our program by allowing them to continue their training while receiving one-on-one support along the way to increasing their earnings and access to benefits."
