Kaiden "Lambo" Lambert is in love with speed, and he's known he wanted to fly an airplane since seeing the movie "Top Gun."

Lambert is 8 years old and has been undergoing chemotherapy treatments for Acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a fast-growing cancer of the white blood cells.

The boy's dream of flying came true Saturday at AirVenture, where the Make-a-Wish Foundation brought him, along with four other kids, to ride in the Ford Trimotor airplane, a helicopter and a flight simulator, among other activities.

Lambert and his mom, Paige, agreed to do a video interview with Oshkosh Northwestern Media from the flight line just before boarding the Trimotor. The video is posted above.
