Fair attendee squeals his way to victory

The loud squeals and oinks heard at Marathon Park during the Wisconsin Valley Fair might be common noises to fairgoers who spend time near the pig barn. But on Saturday night, these calls came from eight participants in the fair's annual hog calling contest.

Taking first place this year was Bryan Scott, who broadcasts the morning show for local radio station 101.9 WDEZ. Scott was the oldest of the competitors, but he said he felt the heat of the competition from the younger participants.
