The backyard bunny battles began in mid-spring and have been raging all summer. The outcome is still uncertain, but to the victor belong the spoils - along with the roses, cone flowers, lilies, hollyhocks, asters, clematis and other delicacies that the bunny seems to think are part of his personal backyard buffet.

I've dealt with mischievous rabbits before - in other yards and flower beds at other homes in other towns. But the hungry hare who's been hanging out here is the most daring, devilish, determined, devious, definitely destructive fellow that I've encountered. He just won't quit. ...
