? Skyward Inc. will add up to 700 jobs in Stevens Point in the next decade as the company builds a new, $30-million facility at the Portage County Business Park and looks to grow substantially. Skyward makes educational software.

? The U.S. economy added 162,000 jobs in July, according to new data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The number constitutes slow growth for the economy, but was lower than economists expected. The unemployment rate fell slightly to 7.4 percent.

? Wisconsin's economy is set to grow quickly at 3.14 percent in the second half of the year, according to a new report by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. Only one state, New Hampshire, had higher projections.

? Bankruptcy filings fell by 11 percent in Wisconsin from January through June, according a report by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, compared to the first six months of 2012. There were 12,291 bankruptcy filings during the period.
