Beginning this fall, Rosendale-Brandon will become the third school district in Fond du Lac County to offer students an alternative charter school experience.

Cirrus Charter School, an alternative high school located within Laconia High School in Rosendale, will be open to 40 students. Thirty-one are currently enrolled in the program funded by a $175,000 federal grant.

Cirrus lead instructor Brian Baker said what's cool about the school is its project-based learning. Students will be able to work on projects they design based on interest level and subject areas. ...
