If you're looking to beat the heat this week and help out a great cause, A&W Oshkosh, 2187 W. Ninth Ave., is the place to be on Tuesday. Operative Mark noted that A&W will help celebrate National Root Beer Float Day by offering free floats from 2 p.m. to close while also collecting donations for the Wounded Warrior Project.

The Wounded Warrior Project aims to raise awareness of the needs of wounded veterans and help aid and assisted them in a variety of ways. If you can make a donation while you're there, please do.
