Defensive lineman Ryan Pickett wasn’t at practice Tuesday because of a medical emergency in his family.

An ambulance was called to Pickett’s house in the morning.

Early in the afternoon Pickett tweeted the following: “Thanks for all the prayers, God is good!! My baby is fine. Still at the hospital should be leaving soon!”

Pickett and his wife, Jennifer, have six children, whose ages range from 2 to 9 years old.

“Ryan Pickett is where he needs to be right now,” coach Mike McCarthy said after practice. “He had a personal situation. My understanding is that everything is going to be OK.”
