Sweet Adelines leader sings her way to success

A triple crown is not easy to come by, but Karen Erickson, baritone in the Center Point Chorus of Sweet Adelines, has achieved that honor within a year.

The three achievements came to light at the spring installation banquet of the singing group: Erickson was presented with the SALLY award (Sweet Adeline Leading Lady of the Year); she was sworn in as president of Center Point Chorus; and she was designated to carry the chorus banner across the stage at Region 22 Sweet Adeline spring competition in Appleton's Performing Arts Center.
