The Portage County Public Library enrolls more than 1,500 children and teens in the Summer Reading Program each year. Library staff members acknowledge the individuals and organizations who have donated time, resources and goods in order to help them provide fun activities and incentives for these participants.

The following businesses provided coupons, gift certificates, and other prizes for participants to earn: Noodles and Company, Pizza Hut, Family Video, Clay Corners Studio, Square Scoops, Papa Murphy's, Polito's, Book World, Gepetto's Workshop and the Point Brewery. Organizations and individuals who hosted programs include: Divepoint Scuba, the Stevens Point Paranormal Club, the Stevens Point Police Department and Dr. David Roloff from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Library staff members and our library users appreciate their generosity and hard work.
