Ryan Pickett missed practice on Tuesday because of a medical emergency involving his 1-year-old daughter, Phoebe.

Without going into specifics, the 33-year-old defensive lineman said everything is OK and he would be going back to the hospital after practice on Thursday.

A father of six, an ambulance was called to Pickett’s house early Tuesday morning. Later that day Pickett tweeted: “Thanks for all the prayers, God is good!! My baby is fine. Still at the hospital should be leaving soon!”

Whether or not it’s a long-term issue, Pickett wasn’t sure.

“That’s what we’re trying to find out,” Pickett said. “Just know she’s all right, but they’re running more tests.”

Pickett is expected to play in Saturday’s preseason game against St. Louis.
