Two teens arrested in attempted armed robbery

Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the attempted armed robbery of a 96-year-old grocery store owner last month.

Police arrested a 13-year-old Marshfield boy, and a 17-year-old Arpin boy on Wednesday. Police say the 13-year-old boy was the one who went into Wolf's Grocery, 713 E. Doege St., on July 15 and held a pocket knife out while demanding Margaretta Wolf open up the cash register.

Wolf told the boy in no uncertain terms that she would not open it up, but she said the teen could have all the Tootsie Rolls that he wanted. ...
