What's It Worth? An Antique Appraisal Event, sponsored by the Lester Public Library of Rome, was held Aug. 2 Rome Farmers Market. Mike Moran, left, bought and sold antiques for more than 30 years, specializing in vintage folk art, Americana and fine art. He has been active as an appraiser of antiques and fine art for more than 20 years. Moran personally appraised 35 items ranging from duck decoys to a Civil War period mahogany dresser.
