Two artists will be highlighted in the Fond du Lac Artists' Association Membership Show at the Fond du Lac Public Library Langdon Divers Gallery in August. Artists of the Year - Judy Stephenson, a painter, and Kathy Perez, a jewelry artist, will have several pieces in the show along with others from the group's membership.

The public is invited to a critique of their works in an exhibit from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, in the McLane Room of the library's lower level. Refreshments will be served.

The mission of the Fond du Lac Artists' Association is to encourage the creative growth and education of area artists and youth, and to promote art appreciation and community awareness of local talent in the field of the visual arts.

The Langdon Divers Gallery is curated by local artist and author, Susan L. Fiebig. Fiebig is working with library staff to bring new and innovative exhibits to the gallery and to showcase the talents of local art groups and emerging artists.

The library gallery is open during library hours: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
