Rookie running back Eddie Lacy is active for the Green Bay Packers’ second preseason game against the St. Louis Rams on Saturday night in St. Louis.
The second-round draft pick missed the Packers’ preseason opener last Friday against Arizona and three other practices with a hamstring injury before returning to practice this week.
Three players who practiced this week – receiver Kevin Dorsey (hamstring), tight end Ryan Taylor (knee) and running back DuJuan Harris (knee) – remain inactive.
The rest of the Packers' 15 inactive players include: receivers Jordy Nelson (knee), Charles Johnson (knee) and Randall Cobb (bicep), defensive backs Sean Richardson (neck), Tramon Williams (knee) and Casey Hayward (hamstring), offensive linemen Bryan Bulaga (knee), J.C. Tretter (ankle) and Derek Sherrod (leg), tight end Andrew Quarless (quad), and defensive linemen Datone Jones (ankle) and Jerel Worthy (knee).
Jones, the team's first-round pick, didn't practice this week after spraining an ankle on his first defensive snap against the Cardinals.
After being a full participant in practice this past week, defensive lineman Mike Neal is back in the lineup. The Packers held him out of last week’s game after being activated from the physically unable to perform list with an abdominal injury.
Center Evan Dietrich-Smith (toe) is also dressed and is expected to start after sitting out of Thursday's light practice.
The Rams will be without seven players, including starting tackle Rodger Saffold and former Packers safety Matt Giordano (2009).
