After languishing vacant and crumbling over the past 30 years, the Fox Theater in downtown Stevens Point might be getting a new lease on life with the help of a nonprofit group dedicated to rehabbing the century-old building.

The title to the theater recently transferred from the theater's most recent owners, the Sanders family, to the newly created Fox Theater LLC, giving city leaders and downtown business owners hope that a prime piece of real estate on Main Street could be on the verge of big things.
