Bicycling and beer event draws visitors from the Midwest to the area's craft beer industry

Nothing tastes better to some athletes after a long, hard workout than a frothy cold beer, and dozens of bicyclists from across the Midwest intend to earn their beers today with a 100-plus-mile trek to breweries across central Wisconsin.

Stevens Point's Rob Greenwood and his fellow cyclists will begin the B3 Bike Ride this morning at the Stevens Point Brewery, and travel first to the Red Eye Brewing Co. in Wausau and then to Central Waters Brewing Co. in Amherst before returning to Stevens Point.
