"Take Time for a Great Time" is the slogan for the 111th Central Wisconsin State Fair, to be held Aug. 28 through Sept. 2 in Marshfield.

To provide a "great time," there's new entertainment for all ages this year.

Dock Dogs, "the world's premier canine aquatics competition," will start every day at 10 a.m. and run into the evening. This is a competition where dogs hurl themselves off a 40-foot-long dock into a pool holding 30,000 gallons of water, competing in four categories: Outdoor Big Air, Extreme Vertical, Speed Retrieve and Iron Dog. ...
