Elmer F. Blonien Post 485, American Legion, Rudolph, held its regular meeting Aug. 8 with 40 members present. The post's color guard and marching unit mached in parades in Milladore, Pittsville, Junction City, Vesper and Arpin, averaging 14 members per parade.

At the annual sign-up night at the Post, 61 members re-signed. Tom O'Shasky of Rudolph signed up as a new member. He is an Army veteran. Membership is now at 123.

The annual raffle will be from noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 25 at Rudolph Park. The raffle drawing is at 5 p.m. Music is planned by the Roy Fuller Family Band with food and refreshments served.

The next meeting will be Sept. 12. New members are welcome.
