Wisconsin Rapids Rotary Noon Club District 6250 sponsors a special needs Scout Ttoop. Troop 105 has been in existence and sponsored by this Rotary Club since 1992. Rotarians participate in troop meetings throughout the year and in camp activities. All Rotary related receipts and expenses are run through the committee chairman and club treasurer.

The sponsorship for Troop 105 and its special needs Scouts provide opportunities for self-enrichment, which might not otherwise be available. Rotarians have expressed their continued satisfaction, knowing that Troop 105 has made a difference in the lives of these individuals.

Troop 105 Scouts also find time to help others and contribute back to the community. They serve in Scouting for Food, to fill local food pantries, and as part of Make a Difference Day. With the support of local businesses, Rotary Scouts buy Christmas gifts for children of needy families. The Rotary Club commits about $6,900 each year.
