Midsummer's Music to receive grant from manor sale

Midsummer's Music Festival recently announced it was chosen to receive a financial grant from the Frank Spitzer estate.

According to Mark Kunstman, executive director for Midsummer's Music, the organization received a document stating the intention of Spitzer's heirs to donate a portion of the proceeds of the sale of the Ellison Bay Manor upon sale of that property. The manor hosted Midsummer's Music for a sold-out July 17 gala benefit concert and will be the site of another benefit concert Sept. 2, with United Way of Door County a joint beneficiary of the latter event.
