At 8:21 a.m. Friday, a Wisconsin Rapids woman reported the theft of a DVD player from an unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of 11th Avenue N.

At 8:36 a.m. Friday, an officer responded to a report of a theft in the 700 block of 11th Avenue N.

At 11:39 a.m. Friday, a Necedah man reported someone used his FoodShare card while he was in jail.

At 11:49 a.m. Friday, an officer responded to an anonymous report of glass breaking, a child screaming and a woman yelling and cussing in the 200 block of 14th Street N. The child had slammed a door and broken the glass.

At 1:27 p.m. Friday, an employee at Walmart, 4331 Eighth St. S., reported a male shoplifter.

At 1:28 p.m. Friday, an officer arrested a woman on a warrant at the Police Department, 444 W. Grand Ave.

At 1:28 p.m. Friday, an officer arrested a man on a warrant during a traffic stop near the intersection of Sixth Street and Airport Avenue.

At 3:09 p.m. Friday, a Wisconsin Rapids man reported another man kicking a mailbox, throwing items off a porch and burning his arm with a lighter.

At 3:45 p.m. Friday, a woman reported a traffic crash in the west parking lot of Riverview Medical Center, 410 Dewey St.

At 4:19 p.m. Friday, a man reported thousands of dollars was missing from a restaurant in the 1800 block of Eighth Street S. The man thought it was a possible employee theft.

At 4:42 p.m. Friday, a man reported his doctor became very upset with him during an appointment, telling the man he was going to call the police. About 30 minutes later, the doctor called to reported a patient made "veiled threats" against him.

At 4:49 p.m. Friday, a caller reported a man showed up at a Wisconsin Rapids residence, saying a person he had been in jail with gave him permission to stay there. An officer determined the address the caller gave did not exist.

At 4:57 p.m. Friday, a woman reported one of the tires on her vehicle fell off four days after a truck backed into her vehicle in the parking lot of Copps Food Centers, 900 E. Riverview Expressway.

At 9:11 p.m. Friday, a Wisconsin Rapids woman reported the theft of a purse in the 200 block of Franklin Street.

At 1:42 a.m. Saturday, an officer arrested someone for drunken driving near the intersection of Eighth Street and the Riverview Expressway.

At 2:32 a.m. Saturday, officers arrested at least two people after responding to a report of a disturbance in the 2600 block of Eighth Street S.

At 3:36 a.m. Saturday, an officer arrested a woman after responding to a report of a disturbance in the 300 block of 10th Avenue N.

At 12:09 p.m. Saturday, a Wisconsin Rapids woman reported a man took her bike without permission in the 1100 block of Baker Street. An officer determined permission had been given.
