The Reel Shot Fishing & Archery Pro Shop is a sporting goods supply shop that opened Friday in the center portion of the former Copps building on Appleton's east side. It's at 1919 E. Calumet St., next to Kitz & Pfeil.

Its owner, Brian Keller, figures the place has a really good shot at doing well in this market even with bigger, flashier competitors, like the new Cabela's to the north, or megastores like Gander Mountain and Mills Fleet Farm to the west.
