Food, farm heritage part of 'A Taste of Egg Harbor'

The Egg Harbor Historical Society is hosting its "A Taste of Egg Harbor" and celebration of farming heritage from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 24 at Horseshoe Bay Farms.

Food from various restaurants will be offered, along with brats, hamburgers, beer and soda served by Pirates in the Harbour, the Door County chapter of the Jimmy Buffet fan club Parrot Heads in Paradise. Activities include guided tours of the farm buildings, displays of antique tractors and historical photos, and a farm market with local products.
