Blietz painting is prize in Hardy fundraising raffle

Tickets are now available for the nonprofit Hardy Gallery in Ephraim's fundraising raffle. Proceeds generated from the raffle will support the organization's mission to foster the visual arts on the Door Peninsula. The Hardy also is partnering with the Door County Humane Society for this year's raffle, with 10 percent of the ticket sales going to the humane society.

The prize is "Ephraim Night Watch," an acrylic on canvas on panel painting by Sister Bay artist Craig Blietz. The title was inspired by Rembrandt's 1642 painting "The Night Watch," and Blietz's work has deep colors set the Hardy ...
