Reader question: I noticed some electrical, plumbing and heating trucks by the old Allcare Dental empty office on West Wisconsin Avenue. Just curious if something new is going in there?

Answer: First Impressions, a dental office specifically for children, took the space. It’s a Wausau-based company owned by five partners, all pediatric dentists.

This office at 4182 W. Wisconsin Ave. in Grand Chute will be their seventh location, all of which are in Wisconsin.

“It’s locally owned and operated,” said Pam Jackson, marketing coordinator. “Dr. Josh Spiegl will be the primary dentist in Appleton. The office will be open Mondays and Tuesdays initially.”

They’ll introduce the office at a public event with food and family activities from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Satruday, Sept. 7. The dental office opens Sept. 9.
