It's Your Call: Sounding the sirens

5:25 PM, Aug. 20, 2013  |  Comments

SAFETY FIRST: Given the probable fact that nine out of 10 people rush to their front door or window when those silly sirens go off, and given the actual fact that we had six tornadoes touch down in the area, I'd like to thank Director of Emergency Services Julie Loeffelholz for not sounding those sirens and probably saving several lives. I look forward to reading about her promotion and wage increase.

Kimberly
