Coming from as far away as the states of Virginia, Texas and Washington, graduates from Nekoosa's Alexander High School Class of 1963 gathered on Aug. 2 and 3 to celebrate their 50th class reunion.

The special celebration began with a social Friday evening at Goodfella's Pizza in Nekoosa and culminated with a dinner and program Saturday evening at Bull's Eye Country Club.

Of the 53 original graduates, 26 were able to attend, most of them with their spouses. Sixteen classmates are deceased. During Saturday's program, those classmates were memorialized with a formal reading of each name ...
