Group continues plans to fight proposed dairy in Saratoga

While state authorities wait for an environmental impact report for a proposed large-scale dairy, a group of residents is continuing its fight against the dairy.

The Wysocki Family of Cos. is proposing a dairy that will include 4,000 milking and dry cows, 300 heifers and 1,000 calves, for a total of 5,300 animals. Plans also call for about 6,400 acres of crops. The initial plan calls for 49 high-capacity wells.
