A downtown Green Bay church that has served generations of Polish families could soon open a new chapter in its history.

The owners of St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, 645 S. Irwin Ave., are considering selling the property to a private group that wants to establish a dormitory for international high school students in Green Bay.

The buyers would utilize only St. Mary's adjoining monastery, allowing parishioners to continue using the church, at least for now. ...
