Grand Rapids man hit by car, flown to hospital

A 25-year-old Grand Rapids man was taken by helicopter to Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield Friday after being struck by a car.

At 4:49 p.m., the Grand Rapids Police Department responded to a report of a car striking a pedestrian on Highway W, near 56th Street South, according to a news release from the Grand Rapids Police Department.
