In just a few days, 5-year-old Audrey Wehner will be heading off to kindergarten at St. Margaret Mary Elementary School in Menasha.

"She's excited to make new friends, but she also struggles with it since she has a more shy personality," her mother Alice Wehner of Menasha said. "It's a bit of a concern but not terribly. I feel that she is ready for kindergarten. I think she is going in with the right mindset; she is excited about going to kindergarten, and she knows she's going to have new experiences and new people to try to get along with."
