Library marks remodeling project

The Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors attend a ribbon-cutting event July 30 for McMillan Memorial Library, 490 E. Grand Ave., Wisconsin Rapids. The event was for the remodel of the Youth Services Department. The ribbon cutter was Library Board President Susan Bovee. The project cost $300,000 and was funded by the Library's Endowment Fund with major grants from the WoodTrust-Bell Foundation ($75,000) and the Mead Witter Foundation ($22,500).
