It was a beautiful day as family and friends gathered to celebrate the wedding of Samantha Jean Poh, great-great-granddaughter of John Poh, the owner of the first gristmill in Southern Door County, to Jan Albicki on Aug. 10.

The Forestville Dam County Park, formerly known as Poh Community Dam, was chosen for its special meaning to the Poh family. Vows were exchanged under the two remaining apple trees from the Poh family's orchard, with the mill pond in the background.

The couple's perfect day ended with a canoe ride under a gorgeous sunset
