Outagamie panel OKs funding for repeater system at tower

Outagamie County supervisors plan to move with haste in the installation of a backup system that would allow for the sounding of sirens should the county's main system go down.

The county's public safety committee Tuesday unanimously approved a plan to spend up to $55,000 on a backup siren repeater at its tower on Holland Road. The full County Board is expected to vote on the proposal in two weeks.
