Swanson becomes Reedsville superintendent

Former Manitowoc Superintendent Mark Swanson has become the new part-time superintendent for the Reedsville School District. Swanson said the Board of Education approved him on Friday, and he began his new 60 percent position the same day.

Swanson replaces Dennis Raabe who retired as of July 1 but continued to assist the district on a volunteer basis. Board President John Ebert said earlier this summer that the board decided to go with a part-time superintendent and hoped to bring Raabe back in that capacity.
