HFM hosts free sports injury clinics

MANITOWOC - Holy Family Memorial Sports Medicine is offering a free sports injury clinic from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturdays continuing until Nov. 23 at HFM's Harbor Town Campus, 1650 S. 41st St.

Area middle school and high school athletes are invited to come to the clinic to have their injuries assessed by an HFM licensed athletic trainer. X-rays are available on-site, and follow-up appointments can be made at Lakeshore Orthopaedics' Sports Medicine Clinic. No appointments are necessary for the Saturday morning clinics.

Participants should use the HFM Family Medicine entrance to access the Sports Injury Clinic. For questions, call (920) 320-3100.

Presentation set for Sept. 11

MANITOWOC - "How to Stay Young-the First 100 Years" will be presented by Dr. Ron Ziolkowski at 5:15 p.m. Sept. 11 at Ziolkowski Chiropractic Clinic, 1310 Washington St.

He will teach natural preventative ways to stay young, healthy and mobile without the use of drugs or surgeries.

Admission is free to the public but an RSVP is required. Call Ziolkowski Chiropractic Clinic at (920) 683-2255.

Series to help those affected by cancer

TWO RIVERS - Aurora Health Care/Rehabilitation Services is sponsoring a free five-part educational series aimed at helping those affected by cancer - current patients or survivors and their caregivers to live well from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Aurora Health Center, 5300 Memorial Drive in Two Rivers, in the Radiation Oncology Suite 104

HFM welcomes new doctor

MANITOWOC - Dr. Jeremy Anclam has joined Holy Family Memorial Gastroenterology, 1900 Woodland Drive.

Anclam received his medical degree from the Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed an internal medicine residency and a gastroenterology fellowship at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Mich.

He has a special interest in the treatment of disorders of the esophagus.
