Music, prizes to help raise money for McMillan firefighters at Fall Festival

Community members started the McMillan Fall Festival 25 years ago to help raise money for the McMillan Fire Department.

This year, from noon to midnight Sept. 7, community members have chances to brush up on dancing skills and win big prizes while supporting the McMillan Volunteer Fire Department.

After the posting of the colors and national anthem celebration, local fire departments will battle in a water fight. Like tug-of-war, the two- or three-man teams try to move a ball past the opponents' line using only fire hoses. ...
