A nationwide warrant has been issued for the arrest of a convicted bigamist who was the subject of a three-part Daily Herald Media series about the string of women he has deceived and perhaps swindled.

Tim Swinea, 46, was to appear in Calumet County Circuit Court Monday for a hearing on felony forgery charges but did not show up for that hearing, according to court officials. A Calumet County Circuit Court judge immediately issued a warrant for Swinea's arrest.
