Cross-country preview: Eagles have built a nest of titles

Southern Door High School cross country coach Josh Pease would be the first to admit that his program has a bull's-eye on its back. Success will do that.

The Eagles have won the past three Packerland Conference girls titles and added the boys trophy to the case for the first time a year ago.

Pease said he's not sure what to expect this season, although Southern Door and the rest of the Door County teams will again get an early conference preview when they head to Fish Creek Thursday for the annual Chief Kahquados Invitational beginning at 2 p.m. ...
