A disgruntled former De Pere School District employee could face up to 31 years in prison after being charged Thursday, Aug. 22, with illegally accessing school computers and destroying information including term papers, lesson plans and athletics records.

Jared Carlson, 30, of Allouez, is charged with five felonies and a misdemeanor in connection with illegal entries of the east-side school district's computer network over about eight months.
