A two-vehicle crash on Washington Island injured a man Saturday morning.

Brien Francis Lehman, Bradenton, Fla., was traveling south in a Dodge van on Airport Road at 6:23 a.m. and stopped for the stop sign at Townline Road near the fire department, according to a Washington Island Police Department accident report. Lehman stated he continued through the intersection not seeing an eastbound Chevrolet S10 pickup driven by Frank A.J. Gibson, 37, Washington Island. Lehman struck the driver's side of Gibson's vehicle.

Gibson was listed as possibly injured but was not medically transported.

The report listed Lehman's failure to yield the right of way and inattentive driving as factors in the crash, but he apparently was not cited.

Ages and addresses of the drivers were redacted from the report by the Washington Island Police Department.
