Hardee's owner, Dave Droste, left, presents checks to Kirk Rodman, volunteer general manager of The Highground Veterans Memorial Park near Neillsville. Hardee's of Neillsville, Colby and Medford are huge supporters of The Highground. Checks presented included funds from the fundraiser titled Berries & Burgers Bash in July in Neillsville ($1,000); funds raised during The Highground fireworks ($1,200) with the Neillsville team being present selling ice cream treats, sandwiches and other items; and funds raised in the Hardee's canisters ($288.84). These checks are designated for the Wisconsin Persian Gulf Tribute in support of our newest veterans and fulfilling The Highground's mission of healing and education.
