Liberty Grove parcels rezoned for farm, museum

The Door County Board this week rezoned two land parcels near Sister Bay from residential to agricultural use.

The adjoining properties, owned by Beach Road Revocable Trust, total 45.25 acres, stretching from Beach Road east to Wisconsin 42 in the town of Liberty Grove, less than a half-mile from Sister Bay's northern boundary. The trustee of the land was identified in county documents as Thomas Rehberger.

"He wants to establish basically a community farm and museum," County Supervisor Ken Fisher, who chairs the county's Resource Planning Committee, told the board. ...
